To order a portrait, please contact me via my contact page to discuss your requirements. I am more than happy to run through your commission with you, making sure that your photos are suitable and answer any questions that you have before you place your order.

To book your commission in I ask for a 50% deposit.​

 

Wait time depends on current workload and can be up to several months, if you need a portrait for a specific date then please let me know and I will try and arrange work to suit.

 

Once I have made a start on your piece you will receive regular updates of the progress. Once the portrait is finished I will email you a proof to make sure you are happy with it ​and do not require any alterations.

Payment....​

Once you have approved your final proof the reminder of the balance will be due. I  accept debit and credit cards through PayPal or  bank transfers. Please note that there is a 4% fee if using Paypal to cover their charges.​

Postage....​

Once the balance has been received the portrait will be sent via tracked and signed for delivery.

​​​​How much is P&P? ​

P&P is Free to UK mainland and £20 worldwide. This includes portrait commissions and prints.
 

How long will a portrait take to complete?

Please contact me for an accurate time scale, if you need your portrait by a specific time then please let me know and I will try and arrange work to suit your deadline.

 

I need a portrait as a last minute gift idea can you help?

I understand that sometimes good gift ideas come at the last minute! Let me know when you need it for and I will do my best to make the deadline - alternatively you could consider a gift voucher.

How do I order a portrait?

Ordering a portrait is simple, just get in contact with me through any of the methods on my 'contact' page, we can then run through what you would like and go from there!

There is something in the photo that I would like changed in the portrait is that possible?

Most of the time yes, let me know what you would like changing and I will let you know if it is possible. Usually I can add/remove tack/collars etc, there is no extra charge for this. 

 

I cannot decide what photo to use!

If you are not sure which photo to use I am more than happy to give my opinion of what picture might work best, just send me a selection of pictures you like and I will let you know what photo and what size portrait would be best (at no extra cost).

On receiving the proof, if I ask for any alterations will there be a charge?

No

Are there any additional costs other than those stated in the price list?

No

Is the 50% deposit refundable?

Strictly speaking no – however if I haven’t started any prep work on the portrait then I would refund the deposit, but it would be at my discretion.
